About Us

Liz and Michael’s love story began in March of 2021, during the height of the pandemic, when they matched on Bumble. From their very first conversations, something felt different—special. They fell hard and fast for each other, exchanging “I love yous” just one month into dating. By the time they’d been together for a year, they both knew they were destined to spend their lives together.

Their first date set the tone for their relationship: fun, lighthearted, and meaningful. They went to Franktuary, a local hotdog spot in Pittsburgh, PA, drawn there by their shared love of corndogs. Little did they know, that simple meal would lead to a lifetime of adventures.

What truly makes their relationship shine is how they balance each other so effortlessly. Liz admires Michael’s perseverance, resilience, and selflessness. Michael brings a sense of organization and calm to Liz’s creative and vibrant energy. Together, they laugh easily, share a love of board games, nature, and time with loved ones, and inspire each other to be their best selves.

The proposal was nothing short of magical. On December 30, 2023, Michael surprised Liz with an unforgettable evening at RPM Seafood in Chicago, surrounded by her closest friends and family. With the stunning Chicago River and twinkling Christmas lights as the backdrop, Michael got down on one knee and asked Liz to marry him. Spoiler alert: she said yes! The surprise was orchestrated with the help of Liz’s mom, who cleverly disguised the evening as a dinner party. It was a night filled with love, laughter, and happy tears—a moment they will treasure forever.

Some of their favorite memories include exploring South Carolina, Ireland, and Mexico, getting to pet a penguin at the zoo, celebrating their one year anniversary at Phipps Conservatory, and cozy nights of board games and movies. Now, as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives, Liz and Michael are excited to settle into their new home in Seattle. They can’t wait to explore the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and start building a life filled with joy, adventure, and countless memories.
